Introducing the DCMS Directory, pictorial edition. This new format, complete with physicians' photos, is a valuable reference tool for the medical community. Physicians frequently claim that one of the best perks of being a member of the medical society is to be listed in, and receive, the directory. Established in 1876, DCMS has grown to more than 6000 members, becoming the third-largest medical society in the country, and a leader and example to other physician organizations nationwide. We welcome the opportunity to showcase your company to our high-profile audience—Dallas physicians.

The directory is published annually in June, with a total distribution of around 6000 copies. At least 4500 go to physician members and the remainder are ordered by hospitals, clinics, imaging centers, and other healthcare facilities. Advertisers receive one complimentary copy. Additional copies can be purchased at a discounted rate. Advertising rates, sizes, and requirements are outlined below.

For added value, directory advertisers also receive a bonus link and 35-word-tag-line (value $300) on the DCMS website's "Business Resources" page. Tag-line must be emailed to the DCMS office (campbell@dallas-cms.org). All advertiser's accounts with DCMS must remain current in order to retain bonus link.

Page placements and preferences are assigned in order of payments received, with premium position holders having first right of refusal. Premium position holder payment deadline is March 1, 2008.

    Note: coil binder will take up at least .25" on the right side of the page, so ad text will need to be within 8.25 inches width. Add .125" to all sides for bleeds.

 

  • Electronic files should be high-resolution pdf with fonts and images embedded, or native files.
  • A go-by (laser copy or matchprint) of final art should be sent (address below) or faxed (214-946-5805) to DCMS. If no go-by is submitted by deadline, DCMS is not responsible for accuracy.
  • Color ads submitted without a color proof may be subject to additional charges, and DCMS is not responsible for color accuracy.
  • Please label artwork and all other files (electronic or not) by company name and insertion date.
  • Any additional typesetting and/or stripping charges will be billed to the advertiser after publication.
