A large number of calls that pass through the DCMS office every day are from people needing a referral, trying to choose among physicians, or wanting more information on a physician they have already chosen to visit. As a DCMS member, you already receive a complimentary listing on our Web site PHYSICIAN FINDER section that includes the name, specialty, office address, and office phone number of physicians who are in active practice. PHYSICIAN FINDER is a great tool to increase awareness about your practice to your peers and the public.

Prospective patients can find even more information about you if you subscribe to PHYSICIAN FINDER’s enhanced online profile listing, which includes a map to your office, medical school and year of graduation, board certification, hospital affiliations, and a picture, if provided. If your office has a Web site, a link is included.

This extended profile feature has become increasingly popular with patients and physicians. Often, patients call DCMS to request that their physician’s extended profile be added to the Web listing. Even without a Web site, patients enjoy seeing who their physician is before the actual visit and appreciate the assistance of the map and other information provided.
