DCMS Directory Two editions and many more improvements

As a DCMS member physician, you receive one complimentary DCMS Directory each year. The 2003/2004 edition should have arrived in your office by now. This year’s new look includes multicolor pages throughout and a photographic cover design.

Your new directory sports a few noteworthy improvements:

• Look for the Member Services Tab to see what’s available for members.
• See the Collin/Fannin County Roster Tab for your colleagues nearby.
• Review the new Pharmacy Tab that includes addresses and phone numbers of Dallas-area pharmacies, sponsored by CVS Pharmacy.

You’ll also find the information you’ve come to count on that makes your DCMS Directory the one resource you depend on:

• Alphabetical and geographical listing of member physicians
• Up-to-date street and e-mail addresses, and telephone and fax numbers
• Medical specialty and practice type information
• A listing of agencies, hospitals, and large group practices
• Physicians in local residency programs

The DCMS Directory has been a valuable member service since its inception in 1924. Back then, some physicians joined the medical society simply to have their names listed in “The Book.” Most everyone in the health industry depends on this resource.

Changes to the directory are the direct result of members’ suggestions. For the first time in DCMS history, we have published two versions of the directory—the members-only edition and the health industry edition.

The DCMS Directory, members-only edition, is the same resource you have come to depend on, but with a more colorful format and a few more perks.

The DCMS Directory, health industry edition, includes much of the same features but excludes all member home information. This will help you maintain your personal information as confidential.
