| 30th Anniversary of our Annual
Medical Student Dinner

This year marked the 30th anniversary of our Annual Medical Student
Dinner. DCMS staff, officers, and the 2005 freshman class express their
gratitude for your commitment to the family of medicine in Dallas and
your response to this event. More than 200 incoming UT Southwestern
freshmen attended the dinner, joined by our largest-ever turnout of
member physician sponsors, resulting in more than 300 physicians and
students. Special thanks to William G. Plested III, MD, AMA president-elect,
for a speech we won’t soon forget.
Remember that donations made toward this event are tax-deductible as
a charitable contribution to the Dallas Academy of Medicine. This does
not include the amount paid for your own meal if you attended.
