A Texas-size “THANK YOU” to the sponsors
of the 2007 DCMS Member Roundup at Eddie Deen’s Ranch in September.
The entertainment sponsor was Blue Cross Blue Shield
of Texas.
Event sponsors were our wonderful DCMS Circle of Friends
which include:
TMA Insurance Trust (TMAIT)
Texas Medical Liability Trust (TMLT)
Lone Star MSO
The Medical Protective Company
Medicus Insurance Company
Misys Healthcare Systems
Advantage Administration, Inc.
AXA Advisors
Care Now
Lincoln Harris CSG
Prime Staff
Tara Energy
The Reynolds Company
National Processing Company (NPC)
These companies are great supporters of organized medicine
in Dallas and made it possible for a wonderful evening of family fun.
Member Roundup is a casual, family event where the
DCMS leadership and members have the opportunity to meet and greet the
newest members of DCMS and those physicians attending who haven’t
yet joined. This is our fifth year to host this family fun event along
with the DCMS Alliance and TMA. It was phenomenal! The food was fabulous.
Chris Linn, family comedian/magician entertained adults and kids alike
by climbing into a huge balloon. Our event photographer did an awesome
job and sent everyone home with a memento of the evening. Goodie bags
were provided for both the adults and kids by our sponsors. And last,
but not least, door prizes were given away for all ages. Thanks again
for your participation in this event—you made this an awesome
event!
Dues Renewal
Watch your mail! If you haven’t paid your 2008 membership dues
yet, you’ll be receiving a reminder in the mail during the month
of December. January 1 is the due date. If you have questions regarding
your statement, or would like to pay via credit card over the phone,
please call the membership department at 214-413-1437.
Remember that DCMS is the only local resource that
binds you to the big picture of the practice of medicine. TMA is that
voice statewide. When it comes to legislation that affects how you practice
medicine, one voice by itself may not be heard. Corporately, the voices
of our physicians are significantly heard because of your support and
participation in organized medicine.
Happy Holidays from the DCMS staff to you and yours.
Our best wishes for a safe and happy holiday season!
