Texas is about to outlaw THC vapes, even if lawmakers don’t ban all consumables

The new law, signed by Gov. Greg Abbott in June, also outlaws nicotine-based vaporizers — electronic battery-powered devices that burn oil for inhaling — with parts made in China or other adversarial countries. It takes effect Sept. 1.
