Next Generation Physicians Program

For many Dallas County middle schoolers, doctors are the people they visit when they're sick, not anyone they imagine becoming. The Next Generation Physicians Program summer camp changes that. Over one transformative week, July 26th – Aug 1st on the UTD campus, underserved 7th- and 8th-graders from across Dallas will live in residence halls, work alongside practicing physicians in hands-on simulations, and discover that a career in medicine is within reach. Each scholarship you fund gives a student the chance to envision a future in medicine.

 

Women in Medicine Leadership Conference

When a high school student sits across from a woman physician and hears her story, including the challenges she faced, the triumphs she achieved, and the path she carved, something shifts. The Women in Medicine Leadership Conference is where that shift happens, bringing together established physician leaders and aspiring young high school women for cross-generational mentorship, professional development, and community. With tracks tailored for both practicing physicians and high school students, the conference equips women at every stage to lead boldly. Your gift ensures that a high school student's ability to attend depends on her ambition, not her circumstances.

 

Physician and Medical Student Mixer

Every physician remembers the mentor who helped them find their way. The DCMS Physician and Medical Student Mixer, now in its 51st year, is where these relationships begin. Each fall, DCMS physicians welcome the newest Dallas medical students by offering wisdom, stories and a clear message: you belong here, and we’re with you. Your sponsorship provides more than a meal; it forges lasting connections to the medical community.
